Nurse Clinician, Cardiac Rehabilitation
About The Position
Baystate Health is seeking a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Clinician to join their team. This role involves closely monitoring and assessing cardiac patients, assisting them in their return to better health, and providing assessments, recommendations, and interventions based on patient symptoms, vital signs, and ECG telemetry. The nurse will also educate, advise, guide, and support patients, requiring excellent communication skills and a passion for healthy living. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
- Registered Nurse License in MA required
- BLS through American Heart Association, required
- ACLS certification is required for the position, must obtain ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date
- 3-5 years’ experience in acute care medical center, required
- Associates Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years CCU / Telemetry / Cath Lab / Cardiac Surgery preferred
- Interest in exercise science / physiology preferred
- Successful completion of Heart and Vascular Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmias Course
Responsibilities
- Closely monitor and assess cardiac patients.
