About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab is a vital member of a high-performing team, delivering critical and compassionate care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where actions directly affect patient outcomes. Success requires critical thinking, a patient-first mindset, adaptability, and effective collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

The role also involves maintaining effectiveness and making sound decisions in high-stress situations; learning and adapting to cardiac interventions, technologies, and best practices; contributing to a collaborative environment; applying precision in patient care, medication, documentation, and sterile technique; showing empathy toward patients and families; and taking ownership of problem-solving and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days.
• One year of recent acute care experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree; BSN preferred.
