About The Position

Paradigm is hiring a Field Nurse Case Manager to support injured workers in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and nearby communities, including Edison, Somerville, Newark, and New Brunswick. This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to be located in the Elizabeth area and travel locally about 80% of the time for in-person patient appointments. The candidate must be willing to travel and hold a New Jersey nursing license. The Nurse Case Manager manages medical cases for work-related injuries, including assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured or disabled individuals. The role involves working with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees; monitoring injured workers’ progress; and reporting results to employers and insurance carriers. The successful candidate must be willing to learn and take catastrophic cases. New hires receive an 8–12 week onboarding program through the company’s Dedicated Training Department.

Requirements

Current, unencumbered compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Willingness to travel locally and be located in the Elizabeth, New Jersey area.
Organization and timeline adherence skills.
PC and technology skills.
Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
Patient education skills.
Valid driver’s license and good driving history.
Obtain a New York Registered Nurse license within 60 days of hire; this license is preferred but required within that timeframe.
Obtain one of the recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, or CRC) within two years of hire.
