About The Position
The Assistant Head Nurse assists the Care Team Manager to assess, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate Nursing Services of the nursing department in keeping with the policies, philosophies and objectives of the HHR. Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in Acute and/or LTC
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP)
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Advanced - Leadership skills
- Basic - Computer skills
- Advanced - Written Communication Skills
- Advanced - Verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead best practice
- Ability to promote a collaborative and team approach
Nice To Haves
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
