About The Position
The Nurse Assistant provides essential support to nursing staff by assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The role contributes directly to patient comfort, safety, and quality of care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. The Nurse Assistant performs other duties as assigned, and all responsibilities are carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.
Requirements
- No education required.
- No prior work experience required; this is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a nurse assistant, nursing aide, or in a healthcare setting.
- Active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification in Ohio in good standing.
