Nurse Assistant
About The Position
As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will perform specific patient care duties, provide valuable input for patient care plans, and respond to emergent situations. Your contributions are essential to delivering high-quality care and supporting our healthcare team. Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one (1) year of previous experience in a similar role.
- Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification preferred.
