About The Position
Wagner Community Memorial Hospital and Clinic is seeking a qualified individual to join our team! The Nurse Assistant provides direct patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Provides safe direct patient care: ambulating, bathing, positioning, passing meal trays, feeding, and attending to other care needs. Assists RN/LPN in gathering basic assessment data: admission assessment form, taking vital signs, and reporting ongoing observations. Provides comfort measures and emotional support to patient and family members.
Requirements
- Current CPR certification is required or completion upon next available program as provided by WCMH-A
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is preferred
- Certified Nurse Assistant Course is encouraged but not required.
