About The Position

As a Nurse Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and care of our patients. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you'll perform specific patient care duties, provide input for care plans, and respond to emergent situations. Your work directly supports the RN team and contributes to the exceptional care we provide at Henry Ford Health.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.
• Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification preferred.
