This is a full-time position in the Emergency Department at Lexington Medical Center. The role combines clerical duties with direct patient care responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to manage patient admissions, assemble medical records, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and perform basic nursing assistant tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, clinical experience is preferred, and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is mandatory. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification is also required. The work environment involves frequent contact with diverse individuals and can be stressful with multiple interruptions. Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, finger/hand dexterity, talking, hearing, and seeing, with lifting up to 50 lbs.
