Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Compensation: $18.00 – $27.00/hour At Deaconess Illinois Medical Center, our CNAs are essential to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Requirements
- Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Support patient comfort and overall well-being
- Observe and report changes in patient condition
- Help maintain a clean, safe care environment
- Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver quality care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
