About The Position

The Helper Bees is seeking an Independent Contracted Nurse to conduct face-to-face cognitive and functional assessments in claimants’ homes. This per diem opportunity is intended to provide supplemental income. The nurse completes structured assessments accurately and efficiently, objectively observes and reports each individual’s current status, and coordinates scheduling with the client or their designated contact. Assessments must be submitted through an online application within 24 hours. The review team may request clarifications by telephone within 48 hours, and an assessment is not complete until all clarifications are answered. The role pays $125 per completed assessment within a 35-mile radius.

Requirements

Current registered nurse (RN) license.
At least 5 years of experience as an RN.
Familiarity with medications and conditions common in the geriatric population.
Reliable internet access for submitting assessments.
Current proficiency with computers and ability to learn technology quickly.
Friendly, compassionate, dedicated, and patient personality.
Prompt and thoughtful communication.
Previous quality assurance or chart audit/review experience.
A portable Windows computer or a tablet with a camera.

Responsibilities
