This role involves performing pre and post anesthesia assessments, preparing and checking anesthetic supplies and equipment, and stocking medication carts and anesthesia machines. The Nurse Anesthetist will assist the Anesthesiologist in preparing patients for surgery, setting up and labeling IV fluids, and performing general anesthesia including airway management and sedation under direct medical supervision. Additionally, the role includes assisting in post-anesthesia care, managing patient medications, fluids, and respiratory support, and ordering necessary supplies and medications. All listed responsibilities are considered essential functions of the job.
