About The Position
Temple Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its anesthesia services team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role provides anesthetic care across surgical and obstetrical services in an academic healthcare setting, working collaboratively with anesthesiologists and surgical teams. The position includes delivering general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC); monitoring patients and performing clinical assessments; managing equipment and following safety protocols; documenting care; and advocating for patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Active Pennsylvania registered nurse (RN) licensure.
- Current CRNA certification.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Nursing or Anesthesia.
- Two or more years of experience in academic medicine or as a practicing CRNA.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC).
- Provide advanced patient monitoring and clinical assessment.
- Manage anesthesia equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and interdisciplinary surgical teams.
