About The Position
BayCare Medical Group (BMG) is offering flexible full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our collaborative anesthesia team at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital (MPNB) in New Port Richey, Florida. This role offers no night call for CRNAs, with current openings for 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The position features flexible scheduling options, including PRN, part-time, and full-time. There are three day-call shifts per quarter (weekends only) if needed at MPNB, though currently there is no CRNA call. The role operates under a 4:1 supervision model with team-based practice, where physicians actively encourage collaboration and CRNAs working at the top of their education and scope. CRNAs will experience excellent support from strong OR leadership, engaged hospital administration, and an approachable chief anesthesiologist who values CRNA input. The case mix includes Orthopedics, Vascular, General/Robotic, GU, ENT, GI, and IR sedation, but excludes OB, Pediatrics, Hearts, and Neuro. The operational footprint covers 4 locations with Monday-Friday coverage.
Requirements
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (or eligible if in training)
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care within the scope of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians and the anesthesia team.
- Participate in a 4:1 supervision model.
- Work with a diverse case mix including Orthopedics, Vascular, General/Robotic, GU, ENT, GI, and IR sedation.
- Adhere to a schedule that may include 12-hour shifts and occasional day-call shifts.
