Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)- Winter Haven Hospital
About The Position
BayCare Medical Group is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our collaborative Anesthesia team at Winter Haven Hospital. This role offers a supportive, collaborative anesthesia team where CRNAs practice independently with physician backup available when needed. The workflow promotes safe, efficient care with predictable scheduling and flexibility, offering multiple shift options (8s, 10s, 12s) with transparent expectations, fair daily assignments, and clearly structured breaks and relief. There is a broad case mix with opportunities to build and maintain skills in ortho, general surgery, vascular, urology, endo, IR, and EP/cath lab, along with ongoing education and mentorship, including support for new grads. There is no call required, with holiday or weekend coverage being optional. The case mix includes Ortho, General, EP, Vascular, GYN, Urology, ENDO, and IR. OB, Cardiac, and Pediatrics are not performed.
Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Responsibilities
- Practice independently with physician backup available when needed.
- Provide safe and efficient anesthesia care.
- Build and maintain skills in various surgical cases including ortho, general surgery, vascular, urology, endo, IR, and EP/cath lab.
- Participate in holiday or weekend coverage on an optional basis.
