This position supports patients/residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and ambulation according to specific procedures. The Nurse Aide will also take vital signs, height, and weight measurements, and maintain patient/resident rooms in a clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities include observing and reporting changes in patient/resident conditions, orienting patients/families to the unit, and instructing patients on safety measures. Additionally, the role assists with clerical tasks such as answering phones, data entry, and maintaining medical records, as well as managing stock supply items. The Nurse Aide performs duties within the scope of Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II tasks and may perform technical tasks with appropriate training, such as administering a 12-Lead Electrocardiogram test and routine venipuncture.
