This position supports patients/residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and ambulation. The Nurse Aide/Unit Coordinator also takes vital signs, height, and weight measurements, and maintains patient rooms. They observe and report changes in patient condition, orient patients and families to the unit, and instruct patients on safety measures. Additionally, this role assists with clerical tasks such as answering phones, data entry, and maintaining medical records, as well as managing stock supply items. The position performs duties within the scope of Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II tasks and may perform technical tasks like administering ECG tests and routine venipuncture after appropriate training.
