About The Position

Christ the King Manor is offering a 120-hour Pennsylvania State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program for individuals interested in a healthcare career. This program provides valuable experience, prepares participants for the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification Exam, and leads to a rewarding career caring for older adults. The program is designed for committed individuals who plan to join the Christ the King Manor team upon successful completion and certification. Upon completion, Nursing Assistants provide compassionate, person-centered care, assisting residents with daily living activities, providing functional and restorative care, measuring vital signs, assisting with basic nursing procedures, maintaining documentation, following safety procedures, preparing residents for appointments, protecting resident dignity and privacy, and maintaining clean care areas. The role requires collaboration with residents, families, and the healthcare team.

• Commitment to accept a full-time Nursing Assistant position at Christ the King Manor, working Second Shift and Every Other Weekend for the required employment commitment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living and personal care
• Providing functional and restorative care
• Measuring and documenting vital signs and resident observations
• Assisting with basic nursing procedures under the direction of licensed nursing staff
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
• Following infection prevention and safety procedures
• Preparing residents for therapies, appointments, and physician visits
• Protecting resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
• Maintaining clean, safe resident care areas and equipment
• Working collaboratively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide exceptional care

Benefits

• $500 bonus after successfully completing the training program, passing the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification Exam, and becoming employed by Christ the King Manor.
• Additional $500 bonus after maintaining Nurse Aide certification and completing six months of employment with Christ the King Manor.
