This position supports patients/residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and ambulation. The Nurse Aide I will also be responsible for taking vital signs, maintaining patient rooms, observing and reporting changes in patient conditions, and orienting patients and families to the unit. Additional duties include assisting with clerical tasks, maintaining stock supply items, and performing technical tasks such as administering ECG tests and routine venipuncture as trained. The role requires adherence to the scope of practice for a Nurse Aide I as defined by the applicable state Board of Nursing.
