This position supports patients/residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and ambulation. The Nurse Aide Healthcare Technician will also be responsible for taking vital signs, maintaining patient rooms, observing and reporting changes in patient conditions, and orienting patients and families to the unit. Additionally, this role assists with clerical tasks such as answering phones, data entry, and maintaining medical records, as well as managing stock supply items. The scope of duties aligns with Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II tasks as defined by the state Board of Nursing, and may include performing technical tasks like administering 12-Lead Electrocardiogram tests and routine venipuncture after appropriate training.
