This role supports patients and residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, feeding, and ambulation, according to specific procedures. The Nurse Aide Healthcare Technician will also monitor vital signs, height, and weight, and maintain a clean and orderly patient room environment. A key aspect of this role involves observing and reporting any changes in patient conditions, orienting patients and families to the unit, and instructing patients on safety measures. Additionally, the position assists with clerical tasks such as answering phones, data entry, and maintaining medical records, as well as managing stock supply items. The Nurse Aide Healthcare Technician performs duties within the scope of Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II tasks and may perform technical tasks like administering 12-Lead Electrocardiogram tests and routine venipuncture after appropriate training.
