About The Position

Prometric, a global leader in testing and assessment services, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with long-term care experience to administer the Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Exam. This role allows RNs to utilize their skills outside of a traditional hospital setting by evaluating candidates pursuing CNA certification. The position also ensures a high-quality testing experience for Prometric’s clients, aligning with the company's Vision, Mission, Values, Policy & Procedures.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurses with active and unrestricted licenses in the state of operation.
  • One (1) year of experience in long-term care or experience caring for the chronically ill of any age.
  • Intermediate to Advanced technical skills and solid familiarity with computer programs and applications (including but not limited to MS Office, Outlook, and Explorer web browsing).
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Access to personal computer equipment (i.e. personal computer/laptop, printer, etc.).
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and vehicle to travel to test events.
  • Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be proactive, flexible, amicable, and able to solve problems independently.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS Degree preferred.
  • Staff development and/or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate candidate skills through proctoring computerized knowledge-based examinations and objective observation and scoring of clinical skills demonstrations.
  • Deliver and secure test events by preparing for events, monitoring rosters, ensuring proper site setup and cleanup, and controlling the test area by maintaining knowledge of Prometric policies and practices.
  • Greet examinees, verify identification, and monitor candidates during written exams or direct a proctor if applicable.
  • Manage the testing environment to ensure smooth candidate flow, observe and rate candidates during practical exams, and resolve or report candidate issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Protect exam content by administering computer-based testing and possessing the technical proficiency to reboot workstations and reset passwords.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience and report any occurrences outside company guidelines to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with testing sites.
  • Maintain an online appointment schedule to ensure event coverage.
  • Provide on-site leadership for candidates.
  • Foster professional and courteous relationships with Nurse Aide Evaluator Community peers.
  • Serve as a Prometric Brand Ambassador when interacting with candidates, site partners, and potential clients.
  • Coordinate candidate rosters.
  • Administer up to 1-2 test days a week (average of 8 hours/test day) at various locations within a 30-mile radius of the employee’s zip code. Exams are performed mainly Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate can work 1 to 2 days a week OR 2 to 4 days a month.
