About The Position

Prometric, a global leader in testing and assessment services, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with long-term care experience to administer the Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Exam. This role involves evaluating candidates pursuing CNA certification, ensuring a high-quality test experience consistent with Prometric's values and procedures. The position requires administering up to 3 test days per week, primarily Monday through Friday with some weekend availability, within a 30-45 mile radius of the employee's zip code. Prometric reimburses for mileage beyond a 30-mile radius.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurses with active and unrestricted license in the state of operation.
  • One (1) year of experience in long-term care or experience caring for the chronically ill of any age.
  • Intermediate to Advanced technical skills and solid familiarity with computer programs and applications (including but not limited to MS Office, Outlook, Explorer-web browsing).
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Access to personal computer equipment (i.e. personal computer/laptop, printer, etc.).
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and vehicle to travel to test events.
  • Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be proactive, flexible, amicable, and able to solve problems independently.

  • BA/BS Degree preferred.
  • Staff development and/or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate candidate skills through objective observation and scoring of clinical skills demonstrations.
  • Proctor computerized knowledge-based examinations.
  • Prepare for test events by monitoring rosters and ensuring site setup and cleanup.
  • Control the test area by maintaining knowledge of Prometric policies and practices.
  • Greet examinees and verify identification.
  • Monitor candidates during written exams or direct a proctor if applicable.
  • Manage the testing environment to ensure smooth candidate flow.
  • Observe and rate candidates during practical exams.
  • Resolve candidate issues or report them to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Protect exam content by administering computer-based testing.
  • Perform technical tasks such as rebooting workstations and resetting passwords.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Report any occurrences outside company guidelines to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with testing sites.
  • Maintain online appointment schedule to ensure event coverage.
  • Provide on-site leadership for candidates.
  • Foster professional and courteous relationships with peers.
  • Serve as a Prometric Brand Ambassador.
  • Coordinate candidate rosters.
