Always Best Care Senior Services is actively hiring compassionate Nurse Aides (NAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one care for seniors throughout Oahu. Unlike facility settings, our caregivers work directly with clients in their homes, allowing them to build meaningful relationships while providing personalized care that enhances quality of life. Whether you're looking for part-time hours, full-time opportunities, or supplemental income, we offer flexible scheduling and a variety of shifts to fit your lifestyle. Starting pay begins at $21/hour, with opportunities to earn more through premium shifts, specialized assignments, overnight care, and weekend coverage.
Requirements
- Current Hawaii Nurse Aide (NA) registration or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Completion of a Hawaii State-approved Nurse Aide or CNA training program
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while following individualized care plans
- Reliable transportation to client homes
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license and ability to transport clients is a plus, but not required for all assignments
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Offer medication reminders
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands when needed
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to the care team
- Follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and well-being
