About The Position
St. Lawrence Region is hiring Nurse Aids! This is an opportunity to join us for on-the-spot interviews during our hiring event. We are looking for Nurse Aids and Certified Nurse Aids. Various shifts are available, including full-time, part-time, per diem, and 7.5 or 12-hour shifts (Day/Evening/Night).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS certification
- Current, unrestricted New York State Nurse Aid Certification or unofficial transcript showing successful completion with a grade of B or better of a Nursing 101 course from an accredited nursing school program.
- For CNAs: must hold NYS CNA certification or Nursing 101 B or better.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in disease-specific care programs may be required depending on the department.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as a Nurse Aid or Certified Nurse Aid.
- Adhere to disease-specific care program requirements.
- Meet department-specific experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.
