About The Position

IntellaTriage is growing and seeking Nurse Advice Line Nurses to work remotely. This role offers the benefit of working from home, providing care without the stress and expense of commuting. Patient care is the top priority, with no call quotas. Patients or their families will speak directly with a nurse when they reach the triage line. Nurses can pick up additional shifts if available and they are trained to support the clients. IntellaTriage provides a laptop and headset, but nurses must provide their own high-speed internet (fiberoptic or coaxial cable only) and ensure it's directly connected to their modem. A private, HIPAA-compliant home office space free from distractions is essential. Training is provided remotely and is paid. Nurses must be comfortable with technology, able to follow instructions, and maintain good standing with their state license. Shift prep is a minimum of 30 minutes before taking calls, which is paid time. Nurses remain clocked in after calls roll to the next team to complete charting, which can vary in time depending on call volume and individual efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license.
  • Must live in/work from a Compact US state.
  • Minimum of 3 years as a RN.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment (i.e. ED, Critical Care, Surgical Services, Med/Surg, etc.).
  • Must have high speed internet (fiberoptic or coaxial cable only).
  • Must be tech savvy and comfortable with technology.
  • Must be comfortable typing and accessing multiple applications remotely.
  • Must be available to work 2 out of every 3 weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
  • Must be available to work holidays as required (rotation).
  • Must be able to handle stress and multitask when calls are coming in.
  • Must physically reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work for any employer.
  • Must be able to complete the 3-week orientation and training.
  • Able to pass background check and nurse licensing check.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care via a remote nurse advice line.
  • Speak directly with patients and their families.
  • Follow client protocols and communicate with empathy.
  • Complete charting after shifts, which may extend beyond the scheduled end time.
  • Pick up additional shifts if available and trained for the clients.
  • Maintain CEUs as designated by the states they are answering calls in.
  • Attend in-services and additional training as needed.
  • Prepare for shifts by clocking in 30 minutes prior to taking calls.
