About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the care of a defined patient population as a dominant aspect of the role and is recognized as an interdisciplinary leader within his/her specialty. Responsible for enacting standards of practice and standards of professional performance, consistently demonstrates the core competencies of advanced practice nursing as well as defined specialty competencies. Responsible for peds pulmonary with attention to the Cystic Fibrosis Grant and population. Effective January 2019, St. Joseph’s Health requires certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be granted through the American Heart Association.

Requirements

  • Certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • Certifications for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • Certifications for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association.
