Additionally, the position involves counseling patients on healthcare maintenance, participating in quality assurance, training new staff, serving as a clinical resource, and performing administrative duties. The Nurse 1 may also assume charge nurse duties, manage inventory, and assist ancillary staff. The starting pay is approximately $92,000, and Ohio has joined the Nurse Licensure Compact.
