About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Onsite Numerical Control programmer with Catia V5 experience for a 6-month contract in Salt Lake City, UT. This role involves establishing technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility, planning, creating, verifying, and revising Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation for numerically controlled equipment. The position requires working under minimal direction and providing expertise in numerical control, machining, and programming. The role also involves planning and guiding the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Associate Level)
  • 1 or more years' Experience in Numerical Control programming
  • 1 or more years' Experience with programming using CATIA V5
  • Experience with Mastercam programming software

Responsibilities

  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
  • Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.
  • Identifies equipment and approaches, coordinates and assigns work and trains/mentors others.
  • Works under minimal direction.
  • Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.
  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
  • Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
