About The Position
You will be the Numerical Control Programmer Stf (Level 4) for the Advanced Manufacturing Team. Our team is responsible for delivering precision CNC machining solutions. As the Numerical Control Programmer Stf (Level 4) you will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs that enable high‑quality, on‑time production.
Requirements
- NC programming experience using a CAM package
- Proven process improvement and problem solving experience
- Deep understanding of machining practices and cutting tools
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- 5+ years of related experience
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
Nice To Haves
- Experience programming 3-5 axis mills and mill turn machines for a variety of materials
- Experience with Siemens NX and Vericut
- Ability to design fixturing / workholding solutions
- Experience evaluating new designs and providing feedback to improve part machineability
Responsibilities
- Develop new CNC machining processes and program parts to meet design specifications.
- Analyze and improve existing legacy programs to increase efficiency and reduce scrap.
- Select and maintain tooling, fixtures, and work‑holding solutions for optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Document process parameters, best practices, and lessons learned for knowledge sharing.
