About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) is hiring for 2nd shift Numerical Control Programmers (Mid Level) to join the Numerical Control Quality Assurance team in Auburn, WA. This role assists in numerous tasks related to numerical controlled manufacturing, including research and data collection to support cross functional teams, establishing technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility and planning the integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. The programmer develops, revises and verifies Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry, and provides machine operator instructions and documentation for automated or numerically controlled equipment per established process. The role requires numerical control, machining and programming technical experience, and establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. The programmer plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. The role also plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. The position works under general direction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to work 2nd shift is required by this position
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
