This role is responsible for providing first-line supervision/direction to NDE (Non Destructive Examinations) services Techs, Code Job package specialists and NOS (Nuclear Oversight) inspectors for all aspects of Salem and Hope Creek InService examinations and repair program inspections. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Science or equivalent education/experience in the field of NDE
  • 5 to 7 years of NDE related field experience
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must possess a valid U. S. driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must meet nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access.
  • A valid Real ID or an approved form of alternate documentation is required for this position by May 7, 2027.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience in directing/supervising bargaining unit personnel
  • Working knowledge of computers and computer systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision and field oversight of NDE, NOS inspectors and CJP (Code Job Packages) activities by assigning, supervising and coordinate the work of represented and non-represented personnel in NDE Services
  • Develop and implement work schedules, make technical assignments and administer the collective bargaining agreement
  • Ensure work activities meet and exceed the requirements and standards established in 10CFR NRC Regulations, related Regulatory Guides, and INPO (Institute of Nuclear Power Operations) Good Practices Guidelines
  • Provide administrative oversight for key elements of the NDE Services program
  • Manage the industrial relations of the group, including performance management.
