About The Position

Be part of history as we restart Duane Arnold Energy Center. This position will support site security training and restart readiness activities, with an emphasis on tactical training, drill development and oversight, training material updates, coaching, and maintenance of required training documentation. The role will also support corrective actions and program enhancements associated with security training and regulatory requirements. Relevant experience supporting security training programs, performance-based drills, curriculum or lesson-plan development, or instructional activities is preferred. Employees in this role coordinate and direct the planning, development and implementation of a variety of security projects.

Requirements

• High School Grad / GED
• Associate's or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 4+ years
• Nuclear Experience: 2+ years
• Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years
• With Associate's, security or law enforcement experience: 5+ years
• With High School Diploma/GED, security or law enforcement experience: 8+ years
• Military training may be considered equivalent to degree
• Experience with Code of Federal Regulations as it applies to nuclear plant access/fitness for duty, dosimetry and training requirements

Nice To Haves

• Security supervisory experience: 2+ years

Responsibilities

• Performs complex security work requiring application of advanced knowledge, techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of diverse security tasks
• Maintains familiarity with regulatory requirements and business unit procedures to ensure security programs, processes, and procedures remain in compliance
• Ensures maintenance records for security equipment are retained in accordance with security plan commitments
• Implements and monitors security system maintenance program including corrective and preventive maintenance of all security equipment
• Implements tracking and trending of security system performance to ensure performance remains within program commitments
• Reviews, recommends and implements contractor and employee access authorization and/or fitness for duty programs
• Provides technical direction to less experienced security analysts
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
