About The Position

This Project Manager role is essential to the historic effort to restart Duane Arnold Energy Center. The individual will drive maintenance project controls activities, including initiating and managing maintenance contracts, scope development, cost tracking, and coordination of maintenance execution across various plant systems. This is an opportunity to apply project controls expertise and nuclear experience to a transformational project powering Iowa's clean energy future. This is a full-time project-bound role with an expected duration through June 30th, 2028. The position is responsible for the completion of substantial projects that support nuclear objectives, leading projects that vary in resource requirements, functional interaction, direction, scope, and timeframe. The role involves maintaining project momentum, reporting completion status, and controlling costs to budget.

Requirements

High School Grad / GED
Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 4+ years
Min Exp in Lieu of Degree: 9+ years

Responsibilities

Leads substantial and complex projects independently to ensure completion in accordance with schedule date
Develops project plans such that stakeholders and contributors understand their assignments and timing
Deploys resources efficiently, ensuring that work performance flows without bottlenecks and gaps
Innovates solutions to problems that arise from changing project circumstances
Values and effectively incorporates certain functional experts into projects
Calculates costs and controls expenses to budget
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
