About The Position

SpectronRx is a growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and production locations in South Bend, IN; Bunker Hill, IN; and Danbury, CT with plans for additional future production facilities. We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Pharmacist/ Production Manager to join our growing company. The Nuclear Pharmacist/ Production Manager will play an essential role in the manufacturing of therapeutic and diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals for patient use.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Pharmacist.
• Must have active pharmacy license in state of Indiana with all held licenses in good standing, or be willing to obtain shortly after hire.
• NRC or state Authorized User Status designation in the company’s states of operation.
• Ability to work a variety of schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to train and be trained.
• Thorough understanding of project management.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with a manufacturing or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
• Maintaining required licensure and assuring compliance with all regulatory commitments, to include Radiation Safety, DOT Regulations and corporate policies.
• Provide guidance to maintain compliance with evolving USP Guidelines, Pharmacy laws, FDA Directives and Guidelines.
• Follow and improve the policies and procedures for the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Monitor the preparation and production and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Establish corrective actions as necessary to correct deviations below acceptable standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
