About The Position

This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. The Nuclear Medicine technologist provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis and treatment. He/she has the advanced skills to perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures, computer processing of data and other technical tasks necessary to produce images for the interpretation by, and at the request of a licensed practitioner. He/she exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics while providing appropriate care essential for successful completion of procedures.

Requirements

  • Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (upon hire)
  • National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology (upon hire)
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (upon hire)
  • BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire)
  • 6 months experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.
