About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. This role is within the Radiology Diagnostic department and offers day shifts. The position involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality imaging, supporting the Radiologist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, performing and assisting with nuclear medicine imaging procedures, and processing and transmitting images to PACS.
Requirements
- Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is required.
- At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist required.
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
- Proficient computer skills.
