The Nuclear Medicine Technologist reports to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor and is responsible for performing a full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and related chemical substances. This role also involves providing quality patient care, ensuring timely patient throughput, and operating and performing quality control on stationary and portable scintillation equipment, including gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and ancillary equipment. The position requires working On-Call and rotating shifts, with knowledge of State regulatory radiation safety practices and ALARA principles.
