About The Position

Shared Medical Technology (SMT) is expanding its mobile imaging team in the Bemidji, MN region and is seeking a compassionate, skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to bring high-quality imaging to rural communities. This role offers the opportunity to serve rural communities, experience the Northwoods, and make a difference in patients' lives. The technologist will deliver advanced Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging to areas with limited access to specialty care, providing meaningful work and impact in Northern Minnesota.

Requirements

  • CNMT or ARRT(N) certification
  • NMTCB certification
  • Associate degree in a related field
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication and patient-care skills
  • BLS, TB, and required vaccinations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Siemens equipment
  • 1 year of healthcare experience preferred
  • Mobile experience a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures with precision and care
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
  • Guide patients through their exam with clarity, compassion, and confidence
  • Position patients and operate imaging equipment according to protocol
  • Maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards
  • Support equipment care and quality assurance processes
