About The Position

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Pay range: - Hourly $55.94 - $83.91 A Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic nuclear medicine exams within established guidelines. Works in both inpatient and outpatient environment and be proficient in all areas of diagnostic nuclear medicine, including nuclear cardiology and general nuclear medicine. The nuclear medicine technologist will demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a team, and independently as required. Responsible for after-hours and weekend on-call for emergent general nuclear medicine tests as needed. The Nuclear Medicine technologist serves as a role model and resource within the department. Per Diem 8 or 10 hour shifts - variable days per week No required call for per diem

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate degree through an accredited Nuclear Medicine program or completion of formal military Nuclear Medicine program required.
  • Minimum 5-year previous technical experience required for Lead position.
  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB required.
  • Annual renewal of ARRT or NMTCB required by Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification
  • State Certification as Radiologic Technologist required.
  • Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification
  • Healthcare Level CPR upon hire
  • COVID-19 vaccination requirement: After October 18, 2021 all Washington state healthcare employees, contractors and volunteers will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization as a condition of employment. Nice To Haves

  • BA or BS degree preferred.
  • Previous hospital clinical experience preferred
  • Previous Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • CT credentialing, E.g. ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) is recommended but not required by Overlake Hospital, the State of Washington, or the Society of Nuclear Medicine.
