About The Position
HSHS is seeking a Nuclear Med Tech to work at St. Vincent Hospital. Ideal candidates are patient focused mission driven individuals comfortable performing a variety of technical procedures, as ordered by a physician, involving the utilization of radio nuclides to ensure production of quality images for diagnostic and therapeutic treatment. New grads welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved program of Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Certificate program required.
- 1 year of healthcare experience required. This can be demonstrated with clinical experience in an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
- Illinois - Accreditation by IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety-Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
- American Registry Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (N)) not just ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification required within 1 year.
