PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist
About The Position
Lumexa Imaging is seeking an experienced, registered, and patient-focused PET Technologist on a PRN/ as-needed basis for our PET at Red Rocks outpatient imaging center in Golden, Colorado. The role involves performing PET exams, including 3D imaging of organs. Responsibilities include preparing, calculating, and injecting radioactive tracers (radiopharmaceuticals) to measure metabolic activity and cellular-level changes in tissue. The technologist will also screen, educate, and monitor patients for comfort and safety, and insert intravenous catheters and test blood glucose/creatinine levels.
Requirements
- ARRT (N) Required
- 6 Months - 1 Year of Previous Experience
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Current CPR Certification
