Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMT
About The Position
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs basic nuclear medicine studies, with most of the caseload consisting of stress tests. The daily caseload is approximately 5–12 patients. The position is open to 4x10-hour, 5x8-hour, or 3x12-hour schedules. The listed schedule is four 10-hour day shifts with variable start times of 6:00 a.m. or 7:30 a.m. Weekend call is required. The start date is ASAP. Applicants with one year of experience are required; first-time applicants are accepted. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. A pending state license is not accepted. All requested time off must be included at submission, and approval depends on facility needs.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience.
- BLS certification.
- California State License.
- ARRT certification.
- NMTCB certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic nuclear medicine studies, including stress tests.
- Provide coverage for required weekend call.
