About The Position

The scope of performance as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist includes but is not limited to the following areas and responsibilities: dose calculation and administration, radiation safety, direct patient care, imaging and computer analysis, quality control and assurance, and Radionuclide Therapy under the direction of a Nuclear Medicine Physician.

Requirements

  • Current R.T. (N) and/or CNMT.
  • Current AHA CPR certification.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's/area's/department's policies and procedures.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
