Provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards to ensure optimal department functions. This role involves the collection, processing, maintenance, and shipping of radioactive and non-radioactive research biological specimens. The technologist will maintain an inventory of research hot lab equipment and shared supplies, ensuring compliance with DEQ Nuclear Standards, including hot lab standards. In coordination with the Theranostics coordinator, the role includes completing research phantoms and other testing for PET/CT systems related to research clinical trials. The technologist will work in conjunction with the Theranostics coordinator and Clinical Research Coordinators to support research PET/CT studies and provide Theranostics support staff for research patients.
