About The Position

Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies. Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed. Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelors' degree from an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Active ARRT or NMTCB (CNMT) certification.
  • Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or eligibility to obtain state license.
  • Verification of college transcript is required.

  • PET/CT experience
  • Level I trauma center experience
  • One year of paid nuclear medicine technologist experience

Responsibilities

  • Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies.
  • Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.
  • Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.
  • Is required to take rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
