About The Position
An established healthcare system located near North Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a full-time, Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team! This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a Monday-Friday schedule, day shift. There are inpatient and outpatient openings available. The role involves performing nuclear medicine procedures with exceptional care and compassion for patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. The technologist will administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate specialized imaging equipment to create high-quality diagnostic images. Maintaining and performing routine quality control checks on equipment is essential for accurate results and safety standards. Adherence to strict radiation safety protocols is required to minimize radiation exposure.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N).
- South Carolina state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
