About The Position

As a Nuclear Med Tech, you are responsible for the following: Operates and maintains nuclear medicine imaging equipment. Performs imaging of the body to assist Radiologists in diagnosis of disease or injuries. Can prepare and administer Radiopharmaceuticals with attention to quality and safety. In addition to the above, the Nuclear Med Tech will also properly enter patient/exam data into the Radiology Information System and produce permanent record of diagnostic examinations.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Program
ARRT certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

Operates and maintains nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
Performs imaging of the body to assist Radiologists in diagnosis of disease or injuries.
Prepares and administers Radiopharmaceuticals with attention to quality and safety.
Properly enters patient/exam data into the Radiology Information System.
Produces permanent record of diagnostic examinations.
