About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Brattleboro, VT. The Department of Radiology is a consultative service that provides services in diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computed tomography, interventional radiography, MRI, bone density, and mammography. The department offers services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients of all ages. While x-ray procedures are the majority of services, the department also provides quality control, quality assurance monitoring and evaluation, marketing, and continuing education for staff and patients. Radiology is comprised of licensed technologists, certified and licensed nuclear medicine technologists, secretarial staff, and licensed radiologists.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 2+ years minimum of current Nuc Med Tech experience in a hospital setting
  • Must have Active ARRT(N) or CNMT/NMTCB certificate
  • Must have Venipuncture experience
  • Must have Travel experience
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Must be able to work independently/hit the ground running
  • Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing a variety of X-Ray procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed X-Ray techniques for diagnosis.
  • Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
  • Ability to obtain intravenous access.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
