About The Position

Performs a variety of technical procedures, as ordered by a physician, involving the utilization of radio nuclides to ensure production of quality images for diagnostic and therapeutic treatment. This role is part of the Radiology department and focuses on imaging. The position is full-time with a day shift schedule and is located at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is offered. The pay range is $35.92 - $53.88 per hour, with the actual rate determined by experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved program of Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Certificate program required.
  • 1 year of healthcare experience required. This can be demonstrated with clinical experience in an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • Illinois - Accreditation by IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety-Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
  • American Registry Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (N)) not just ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification required within 1 year.
